Congratulations to Jenna Kylie Wilson, an Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program student in the Physiology and Pharmacology department of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. On April 9th, 2026, she successfully defended her Master’s Thesis titled: “Regulation of Microglia Morphology and Innate Immune Response to Acute Endotoxin Challenge by Age and Sex ”. Jenna’s major professor was Dr. Nick Filipov, and her graduate advisory committee consisted of Drs. Jae-Kyung (Jamise) Lee, Anumantha Kanthasamy.

Congratulations to Ignacio Mariano Llada, an Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program student in the Physiology and Pharmacology department of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. On February 20th, 2026, he successfully defended His Dissertation titled: “Behavioral, Metabolic and Microbiome Responses of Steers Continuously or Rotationally Grazing Toxic Endophyte-Infected Tall Fescue.” Ignacio’s major professor was Dr. Nick Filipov, and his graduate advisory committee comprised Drs. Jeferson Lourenco, John Wagner, and Pedro Fontes.
